Drivers who rely on the QEW to get around will face several disruptions through Mississauga this week.

Ongoing construction carried out by Ontario’s Ministry of Transportation will see some land closures and slowdowns.

Here’s what’s happening:

• Until the early morning of Dec. 10, traffic along Toronto-bound east on the QEW between Erin Mills Pkwy./Southdown Dr. to Hurontario St. will see lanes reduced.

• Today (Dec. 5) and tomorrow, the westbound QEW ramp heading to Fort Erie at Hurontario St. will be closed from midnight to 5 a.m.

• Until Aug. 1 of next year, the westbound ramp of the QEW heading to Fort Erie will be closed at Mississauga Rd.

• Until the early morning of Dec. 10, reduced lanes will be in place on the QEW-bound on-ramp at East Mall/Dixie Rd.
