Traffic disruption planned for Burlington Skyway

Drivers will have to contend with traffic disruptions this weekend on the Burlington Skyway.

The Ontario Ministry of Transportation reports that one Fort Erie-bound lane across the bridge (which is part of the QEW) will be closed starting at 10 p.m. on Friday, July 12. It will reopen again on Monday, July 15 at 5 a.m.

The ramp from the Eastport Drive collector lanes to the Skyway Bridge will also be closed during this time.

Three lanes of traffic will remain open on the QEW Fort Erie-bound at all times.

All ramps at the Northshore Boulevard interchange will remain open.

Eastport Drive collector lanes and Eastport Drive can be used as a detour/alternate route during the period.
