Trafalgar Park outdoor ice rink in Oakville temporarily closed

Trafalgar Park outdoor ice rink in Oakville is temporarily closed due to the mild weather.
The closure, which is in effect today (Mar. 2) was announced by the Town of Oakville.
“Trafalgar Park outdoor ice rink is closed today due to the warm weather,” said the Town of Oakville on Twitter.

“To protect the ice surfaces of our rinks, please do not use the ice on days when the temperature is mild. When the temperature rises above freezing, the ice can get quite soft and can be damaged by use,” reads the Town of Oakville’s website.
Oakville residents are reminded to check the Town’s website for updates on outdoor rinks prior to visiting as weather can often affect whether they will be open.
