The Town of Oakville wants your input on its reconstruction of Bridge Road from Lees Lane to Sherin Drive.
The Town is in the process of completing detailed design drawings for the project which is slated to begin in Spring 2022 and take approximately six months to complete.
The proposed work includes removal of existing roadside ditches and reconstructing Bridge Road to two-lanes with on-road bike lanes, new curb and gutter, storm sewer, continuous sidewalks on both sides, streetlight upgrades, and repairs to the Fourteen Mile Creek bridge.
The project will also include:
- removal of roadside ditches and driveway culverts
- new storm sewers
- new concrete curb and sidewalk
- widening and remediation of the bridge structure at Fourteen Mile Creek
- driveway apron restoration
- topsoil and sod restoration of boulevard areas
The Town is looking for your feedback. Residents can add their input to a Public Information Centre being held in an online format.
Review the information and detailed design drawings at https://www.oakville.ca/residents/bridge-road-construction.html and email your comments to the project team at [email protected] by August 30.
