The Town of Oakville is looking to shore up the waterfront at Berta Point in Bronte and they want your take on just how.

Town officials say the shoreline is in poor condition and has initiated a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA). The Online Public Information Centre runs through to June 8. The goal is to find ways how to provide shore stability, overall enhancement of the environmental conditions, and improve the public access to the Berta Point West Bank Seawall at Bronte Inner Harbour.

An important part of the study will include consultation with interested stakeholders, the public and regulatory agencies. Residents are encouraged to provide comments on what they would like to see addressed so that can be included in the plan and design of the project.

The Public Information Centre is being held online due to COVID-19 restrictions. Interested residents can review the study background information (pdf) and send their input through the online comment form or by emailing the project study team.
