Oakville skateboarders who love catching some air or pulling off a Caballerial, your feedback is needed.

The Town is gathering information for its new proposed outdoor skateboard area at Cornwall Road Sports Park and is looking for local skateboarders to reply to an online survey.

Questions range from what age group are you in and if you used/visited any of the others skateboarding facilities in Oakville to what should be included in the new area at Cornwall Road Sports Park like a quarter pipe or grind rail.

The survey must be completed before August 3rd. If interested, go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/cornwall-skateboard.

Council approved spending $250,000 on the new park, located at the front near the landscaped area near Cornwall Park, in early June.

They also approved to design and construct the facility before the end of 2021.

Oakville Trafalgar High School student Crawford Hughes had pitched the new skateboard area in Ward 3 to council after saying he had to travel some distance if he wanted to skateboard.
