The Town of Milton has officially ended its COVID-19 state of emergency but is encouraging residents to “remain vigilant.”

The state of emergency was first declared on Mar. 24, 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic.

This news follows the same announcements from Halton Region and the Town of Oakville.

“With the end of the state of emergency, the Town thanks all residents for their resilience and commitment to keep our community safe. We ask that residents remain kind, considerate and respectful toward those who continue to practice public health measures for their own well-being,” reads the Town of Milton’s website.
