Town extends deadline for traffic calming survey in old part of Oakville

Residents living in old Oakville are being asked by the town if they want to see changes that will help reduce speeding along their road.

The Town of Oakville is considering implementing physical traffic calming measures that will slow down vehicles speeding along Southview Rd., from Pinegrove Rd. to Rebecca St.

Proposed measures would include speed cushions, curb extensions, or raised crosswalks.

Residents on the street are being asked to take part in a survey.

Due to delivery notices for a portion of the households in the survey area, the deadline for submitting feedback on the previous notice may not have allowed for adequate response time.

The new deadline for feedback to the town has been extended to Dec. 16, 2022.

Residents on Southview Rd. can complete the survey online or send in their response by the following methods:
