A Brampton man faces charges after the OPP Organized Crime Towing Industry Project team found suspected opiates in a Mississauga business.

Police seized more than 200 grams (seven ounces) of a suspected opiate with a potential street value of $25,000 after a search of a Mississauga business on March 3, OPP said in a press release.

The OPP’s Organized Crime Towing Industry Project charged a Brampton area resident in connection with the investigation.

Municipal and provincial police work together on the OPP-led Organized Crime Towing Industry Project Team to disrupt organized crime networks and their associated criminal activities.
