Toronto police seizure of three guns leads to charges for two Brampton men, two more suspects remain at large

The police discovery of three guns in a Toronto investigation has led to charges for two men from Brampton and a manhunt for two more from Toronto.

Back on June 7,Toronto Police officers “became involved” in a criminal investigation on the corner of Bremner Blvd. and Lower Simcoe St. a stone’s throw from the CN Tower. The service did not specify how the officers got involved in the investigation.

Officers claim they discovered three firearms of unspecified make as a result. They also arrested two men at the time, Janson Jeyakanthan, 29, and Jayson Jeyakanthan, 30, both from Brampton.

The pair were each charged with 20 firearms offences including possession without a licence, possession of a gun with an altered serial number and failure to comply with release orders.Both men will appear in a Toronto courtroom on March 20.

However, two Toronto men police believe to be connected to the investigation remain at large. Jahmal Palmer, 36, and Paul Richards (A.K.A. Paul Williams), 29, are both wanted.

Police advise anyone who has spotted the pair to avoid them and immediately call 911.
