Toronto police seek suspects from Mississauga, Brampton in connection to fatal shooting

Toronto Police are asking for the public’s help in locating two suspects, one from Mississauga and one from Brampton, wanted in connection to a shooting that killed two people earlier this month.

According to a press release issued Monday morning (Jan. 31), police are searching for 21-year-old Darriel Thompson from Mississauga and 21-year-old Camarr Brown of Brampton in connection to the incident that killed two Mississauga men in their 20s.

The incident in question occurred the night of Jan. 3, 2022, in Etobicoke at 150 Thirtieth Street.

When police arrived on the scene, two men were located suffering from gunshot wounds, as well as a woman was found nearby with injuries.

All were taken to hospital, but the two men succumbed to their injuries a short time later. The woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The victims were identified as Minyali Wur, 24, and Chudier Reat, 20, both of Mississauga.

Thompson is wanted for:

  • Two counts of Second Degree Murder
  • Attempted Murder

Brown is wanted for:

  • Accessory After the Fact to Murder

Investigators said they would like to speak with anyone who may have information concerning this investigation, information on the two wanted men, or have dashcam or video surveillance of the area.
