A homicide investigation has been launched by Toronto Police after a body was discovered just after midnight in Pickering.
The body was found early Friday morning in a suitcase near Whites Road and Highway 401, according to Global News sources, and the case was turned over to the homicide unit.
No other details regarding the identity of the body or why Toronto Police assumed control of the case were provided.
