A Toronto coffee shop has opened a huge, new location in Mississauga.
Coffee at Carlton’s opened at Brightwater in the Experience Centre, 220 Missinnihe Way, Unit 2, in Port Credit. The large space features floor-to-ceiling windows, comfy seating and a gas fireplace.
The cafe has operated at 36 Toronto St., at Adelaide Street, east of Yonge, for several years.
The new Mississauga location opened in May.
It is part of the Brightwater residential development and inside the Brightwater Experience Centre, which will be a hub for co-working, social gatherings and community events.
The development is undergoing a transformation with the new Italian restaurant Mercatto Centrale also opening this spring. The Brightwater community also welcomed the city’s first Farm Boy in 2024.
Coffee at Carlton’s serves a range of espresso drinks including cortado, an espresso drink originating from Spain, an Aussie-style cappuccino, macchiato and Americanos. Pastries are also on the menu.
The cafe has already received praise on Google Reviews for its nice vibe, delicious coffee, friendly staff and cozy seating (sofas) and chairs.
“The best coffee in Port Credit, without question! Tried their Aussie-style cappuccino with a nice cocoa finish — perfectly balanced and smooth,” one person wrote.
“Beautiful space, and very smooth coffee!” another customer wrote.
