Toronto-based Jazz pianist performing at Milton restaurant

A restaurant in Milton will be featuring weekly performances by a Toronto-based Jazz pianist.

Ruben Vazquez is an active pianist in the Toronto Latin Jazz scene.

He performs at the Marquee Steakhouse & Piano Lounge, located at 204 Main St. East Thursday through Saturday evenings.

Vazquez studied piano and choral conducting at the Amadeo Roldan Conservatory in Havana, Cuba, before later becoming a Professor of Music. He is also a Humber College and British Columbia Open University graduate and has performed at both the Genie Awards and the Latin Grammy celebrations in Toronto.

His performances at the restaurant’s upstairs piano lounge begin at 6:30 p.m.
