Top 5 Stores Coming to Square One

Square One, the 43-year-old shopping goldmine, will be introducing some exciting new stores in the upcoming year. In case you haven’t noticed, Square One has been undergoing some major changes over the last little while, boasting new stores like Brandy Melville and the largest Forever 21 location in Ontario. It’s also only part-way through its major makeover.
With all of its new additions, Square One seems to be focusing on attracting young to middle-aged female shoppers in the market for trend pieces that are style-savvy and sophisticated.
Here’s our list of the top five stores coming to Square One within the next year.
5 – Kate Spade
This New York brand has 80 shops in the United States and 100 internationally. Now they’ll have 101. The higher-end shop offers handbags, clothing, jewellery, shoes, stationery, eyewear, baby products, fragrances, tabletop items, bedding and gifts. So, if you’re looking for a little bit of everything and want to keep your look chic, Kate Spade might be the place to go.

4 – Muji
Muji’s second store will be coming to Square One and the brand is all about keeping it simple. Muji is a Japanese retailer that sells a ton of household goods. They carry more than 7,000 items in over 700 stores worldwide, with products ranging from clothing to household goods to food. From the beginning, Muji has been committed to streamlining processes and simplifying the selection of materials and packaging to provide good quality products at reasonable prices.
3 – Urban Outfitters
The urban aura of Toronto will be delivered to our doorstep with the very first Urban Outfitters location in Mississauga. Looking for a minimalist, office-meets-after-hours look? How about an eccentric or authentic look-book piece? You can be sure to find either option, plus more, at the convenient Square One location this fall without ever heading east to the city.
2 – Holt Renfrew
Canada’s leading luxury department store is coming to Mississauga! The 120,000 sq. ft. paradise will be filled with high-end brands, including pieces by Badgely Mischka, Louis Vuitton, Marchesa Notte, Victoria Beckham and other elite designers scarcely found in the rest of the shopping centre. The brand new Holt Renfrew will open in the new southern expansion wing of the mall in spring 2016.
1 – Simons
Perhaps one of the most anticipated stores coming to Square One, this Quebec-based retailer offers contemporary, chic looks at affordable prices. The most exciting part? The Square One location just so happens to be the first Simons location in Ontario! You can expect to see it in all of its 113,000 sq. ft. glory in spring 2016.
