5. Mickeys Pizza
The only pizza joint that has been visited by “You Gotta Eat Here” is Mickey’s Pizza, and with good reason. Located in the quaint village of Clarkson, this unassuming pizza joint is a real killer. Just look out for their mascot — a giant inflatable green dragon perched on top of the building. Mickey’s serves traditional pizzas plus what they call a “Killer King,” which is a deep dish Chicago-style pizza for the hungry Chi Town-style pizza lovers. They use the best ingredients possible. The dough is made in house, they use ingredients like extra virgin olive oil and they cook their meat right on the grill before it goes into your pizza.
4. Border MX

Friday and Saturday nights are reserved for Chef Rico’s regional Mexican specials such as Tongue Tacos (self-explanatory) and Pozole (a soup made of pork or chicken broth with hominy and other garnishes). The somewhat newly-opened Streetsville resto benefits from prime spot in one of the city’s best neighbourhoods, friendly service and a reliably delicious menu. They also offer the best churros in Streetsville, which is described as a “srispy and crunchy deep fried goodness with a dulce de leche on the side and service with a smile.”

Every aspect of this place -- including the space and menu -- has been designed with the utmost thought to detail. The resto is known for its expanding menu that focuses southern classics, such as chicken and waffles, Rub Me the Right Way beef brisket, Boars Gone Wild smoked sausage, the boss platter (BBQ sampler platter) and more.
