If you’re big into Halloween, you’ve probably been excited about this weekend all month and, fortunately for you, your patience will be rewarded if you plan on partying in Mississauga.

This weekend, put on your coolest/sexiest/most creative costume and check out a traditional Halloween club night, a themed bash or a decidedly sophisticated musical party. Although you might not always think of Mississauga when you think of nightlife, some of the city’s hottest bars and restaurants have a few Halloween-themed events on tap for the weekend that are more than worth checking out.

5) Halloween Bash at Central Nightclub

If you want to show your costume off in a more traditional club setting, Central Nightclub–which recently took over the old My Apartment location after that long-standing hot spot shuttered its doors for good–is probably perfect for you. The brand new top 40-focused nightlife spot is asking partiers to “come for the boooos, stay for the witches” on Saturday, Oct. 28. The Halloween Bash will feature DJ Danny D.

Tickets to the event are $20 and can be purchased at the door. That said, organizers are asking revelers to get on the guest list in advance. So if you want to party at Central, click here.

4) Port House: Haunted Port House Party

If you don’t want to stray far from Port Credit to party, this bash might be right up your alley. The brand new Port House Social Bar and Kitchen, which recently took over the space once occupied by Ten, is hosting a Halloween bash on Friday, Oct. 27 and Saturday, Oct. 28. The event will feature a live DJ and a prize for the best costume. So if you want to dance and show off your Daenerys Targaryen costume, this place might be worth checking out.

3) Mississauga Symphony Orchestra Casino Royale: The Music of James Bond

On Sunday, Oct. 29, you can do Halloween a little different by checking out this fun and sophisticated fundraising musical event at the Living Arts Centre at 4:30 p.m. Although it’s not explicitly Halloween-focused, it’s most certainly a themed event! The Mississauga Symphony Orchestra (MSO) is inviting Bond and music lovers to “a thrilling night of music, dining and gaming to raise funds for the orchestra, Bond style.” Attendees can visit food stations and enjoy a “fun casino” to win funny money and real world prizes supplied by Holt Renfrew, Maison Simons, Armand Jewellers, Toureto Travel Agency, Erin Mills Town Centre, Novotel, Sobeys and more .

To complete the evening, the MSO will perform Shaken, Not Stirred – The Music of James Bond. Attendees are encouraged to dress as their favourite Bond characters.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by phone at 905-306-6000 or online. Complimentary underground parking is included.
