Top 5 biryani in Mississauga
Biryani is a delicious mixed rice dish that is known for its distinct flavour and familiar spices. The aroma alone can stir up an appetite and the rice dish itself is the ultimate comfort food any day of the week. You simply can’t go wrong with a blend of spices, marinated chicken, veal or lamb and fluffy rice layered together. Many people prefer their biryani made a certain way, but potatoes or no potatoes, this dish is always a hit. Just don’t forget the raita!
It was a tough decision, but we’ve rounded up the five best places to get biryani in Mississauga. Although the city is filled with an abundance of restos serving up authentic and homestyle biryani, we could only choose five.
Here they are:
5) Avani Bistro
This upscale bistro has quite the rating on Google reviews. Their Indian-style biryani was delicious and although the resto is quite fancy, having this dish as takeout still upheld the experience you’d have if you were dining in. The moment you open the lid, you are greeted with an aroma of spices and the first bite is simply incredible. I can happily say that this was a good choice for a cosy Friday date night.
Aunty’s Kitchen definitely serves up homestyle biryani that literally tastes like it’s been made by an aunty. You just know it’s been made with love, spice and everything nice. It’s a bit spicy, but if you pair it with the delicious raita and chicken kabobs, you’ll definitely be coming back for more. Overall, the vibe of this resto simply reminds us of home with the amazing customer service, friendly staff and home-style cuisine.
The beauty of this dish is all the flavours and spices in the rice itself simply compliment each other. There is a hint of spice that makes this biryani appetizing and enjoyable every time you take a bite. Their raita is always up to scale and made fresh every day, making it the perfect addition to their biryani.
You can’t go wrong ordering biryani from this resto. The portion sizes are excellent, the cost is affordable and the taste is simply priceless. Shaheen’s serves up high-quality biryani consisting of marinated chicken, a blend of spices and fluffy rice that’s spicy, yet flavourful. Aside from the amazing food, the customer service is excellent and the staff are always welcoming and generous with their menu items.
1) BarBQ Tonite
This resto serves up an authentic Hyderabadi biryani and to be honest, it’s one of the best ones in the city. They offer an exquisite lamb biryani with lamb that’s been marinated in yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, fresh garlic, ginger, pudina, fried onions and then layered on top of fluffy basmati rice. They also offer a chicken biryani that’s made with the same spices. Hearing all that should make your mouth start to water but just wait until that first bite. You will be overwhelmed with the way the flavours are combined and mixed into the rice and this will truly be your go-to spot for biryani that will never disappoint.
