Oakville residents wanting an immediate COVID-19 dose can get one at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital Vaccination Centre.

The local hospital is accepting walk-in appointments for individuals 18 and over until 8 p.m. tonight and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday.

Those interested should enter the clinic from Third Line. Free Parking is available on site.

Only the Moderna vaccine is being administered at the clinic.

With an increase of vaccines supply on Monday, Halton Region also announced it will be opening a ninth community clinic at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Secondary School, located at 1145 Bronte Street S. in Milton.

Those 12 and up can book their appointment at anyone of the Halton’s additional clinics or the online booking system at https://one.halton.ca/vab/s/, or by calling 311.

Halton Region is increasing capacity at several clinics to offer more opportunities for individuals to book their first dose appointment or to rebook their second dose at an earlier interval.
