Tires and rims stolen from 19 vehicles at a Milton dealership found in London in a stolen van

Tires and rims reported stolen from approximately 19 vehicles at a dealership in Milton turned up in London this week.

The tires and rims went missing from the Hunt Chrysler Jeep RAM Dodge Fiat dealership on Sunday (Oct. 23) around 7:30 p.m., Halton Regional Police Const. Steve Elms told inHalton in an email.

The suspect stole front and rear tires and rims from vehicles at the dealership, located at 500 Bronte Rd. S. in Milton, Elms said.

Police were looking for a white cube van in connection with the theft.

Then on Monday (Oct. 24), Waterloo Regional Police said they recovered the tires and rims in a van in found in London.

Waterloo police said the work van was stolen from the area of Bleams Road and Otonabee Drive in Kitchener on Oct. 24.

The tires and rims are worth approximately $135,000, Waterloo police said.

The investigation is ongoing to itemize and process the recovered property, Elms said. Currently, there is no information on the suspect.
