Aside from the authentic music and heritage displays, the one thing you can count on from the Niagara Irish Festival is a cold beer.

Be ready to “shamrock and roll” to everything Emerald Isle as Niagara Falls is about to see its first-ever two-day Niagara Irish Festival.

Sponsored by local non-profit organization, Irish Music Niagara, the festival will be set at Firemen’s Park (2275 Dorchester Road Niagara Falls) on both August 26 (5 pm to 11 pm) and August 27 (11 am to 11 pm).

“The festival is organized by a committee of local volunteers with strong links to Ireland and Niagara,” said Irish Music Niagara. “They are guided by the principle that the festival must be authentic, Irish and fun!”

According to the group, the festival aims to celebrate Irish Music Culture in a family-friendly, community-centred way, prioritizing quality artisans, musicians and businesses that are based locally “while extending a warm welcome to all who wish to visit our lovely city.”

They added they are grateful for the support they have received from the City of Niagara Falls.

The big headliner that will close out the two-day show at 8:45 pm on August 27 will be the internationally-acclaimed Irish recording artist and performer Paddyman and Friends, who has performed live to over one million people all over the world and “delivers an authentic high energy Irish music show.”
