Tim Hortons commercial featuring Mississauga’s Maitreyi Ramakrishnan released along with new cookies

Tim Hortons has released the commercial featuring Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and the new line-up of “Dream Cookies.”
As fans of Maitreyi Ramakrishnan know, the final season of Netflix’s Never Have I Ever was dropped on June 8. But the Mississauga actress hasn’t disappeared from the spotlight.
Last August, Ramakrishnan tweeted that she missed Tim Hortons while she was away from home. Her family regularly made Tim Hortons runs when she was growing up Mississauga.
Tim Hortons saw the tweet and partnered with Ramakrishnan on a commercial to promote their new Dream Cookies.
The new commercial is now up and it shows Ramakrishnan taking a box of cookies and some drinks to a backyard party.
Her brother Vishwaa Ramakrishnan appears in the commercial asking what Maitreyi got from Tims. When she says: “Dream Cookies, they’re a little extra.”

He replies: “Like you?” She says, “Yes, like me.”
Maitreyi says Tim Hortons was a favourite growing up.
“I’ve always loved Tim Hortons and Tims cookies were something my family always shared together so I’m super excited to be helping introduce Dream Cookies to Canadians,” she says in a press release from Tim Hortons.
There are three Dream Cookie flavours — rocky road, a chocolate cookie stuffed with pecans and marshmallows; a Reese Mini topped cookie with pecans, white and milk chocolate chips; and an M&M’s topped cookie stuffed with white chocolate chips.
