After working and sitting in traffic, you need a drink and Thursday nights are perfect for kicking back and preparing for the weekend (it’s only one business day away, after all).

Lucky for you, a ton of excellent Mississauga bars and restaurants offer tasty Thursday drink specials that will get you ready for the weekend.

Here are some specials worth trying.

The Wilcox: The Wilcox is spacious and chic and perfect for some high-end, after work cocktails. If you want to get your drink on, it might please you to know that you can enjoy the following: $5 1oz Hennessy, $5 1oz Grey Goose, $5 Pint Amsterdam 3 Speed, $5 Pint Side Launch Wheat. $5 5oz Jackroo Shiraz and $5 5oz Woolshed Sauvignon Blanc.

Wingporium: Want to pair your booze with some wings? Thirsty Thursday lets you get a pound of wings with a pint of domestic beer for $15.50.

Spice Lounge:  Port Credit’s sexiest tapas lounge knows that Thursday nights are special and is offering $5.00 bottled beer and bar rail. If you’re in the Port Credit area tonight, this place is worth a look.

The Pump House Grille: Port Credit, it seems, is a good place for a Thursday night pub-crawl. If you’re in the area, head over to the Pump House Grille for their Thirsty Thursday special to get $5 Sol’s.

Ten Restaurant and Wine Bar: If you’re in the mood for good drink deals in fancy places, head to Ten in Port Credit for $5 draughts all day long. This place might seem better for wine, but if they’re offering a good deal on beer, well, who would say no?

Failte: If you want to stay in City Centre (which is good if you’re a Sheridan student who’s looking for an impromptu Thursday night party), you can always hit up Faite for a 20 oz. pint of Keith’s for $5.50.

Cooper’s Pub: Also in the City Centre area, the old-school Cooper’s Pub offers diners a Thursday night Stein Special for $9.59.

AllStar Wings and Ribs: If you head to AllStar Wings and Ribs, you can actually try a few discounted drinks as part of the brand’s weekly Appie Hour. If you hit the resto between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, you can get a domestic pint for $4.25, bar rail for $3.50, a Caesar for $4.95, white or red house wine for $4.95 or an AllStar Signature Cocktail for $5.95.
