This week’s forecast is calling for more heat and thunderstorms in Mississauga and most of southern Ontario.

Monday will start off on the cooler side of seasonal, with scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible Monday evening and overnight.

Tuesday is expected to be mostly cloudy with sunny breaks, but more showers and thunderstorms are likely.

The heat will ramp up midweek, with temperatures feeling like mid to high 30s.

“Warm and humid weather is likely through the end of next week as tropical moisture from the remnants of tropical storm Fred surges north into our region,” says the Weather Network. “This will give us a daily risk for showers and thunderstorms, but we will also see sunny breaks.”
