Pearson Airport is keeping an eye on possible thunderstorms in the U.S.
The Federal Aviation Administration warned about the storm activity in the Dallas and Fort Worth area and central and south Florida on Wednesday.
The storms could cause departure and arrival delays, the Federal Aviation Administration said.
Pearson Airport said they are keeping an eye on the possible delays.
“We’re keeping a close eye on Florida airspace today as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) website shows possible traffic management initiatives due to some unsettled weather in the sunshine state,” Pearson said.
As of 7 a.m., the skies are clear in the GTA and no major issues at Pearson.
“We’re off to a smooth start-up for operations today as we expect close to 1,000 aircraft departures and arrivals,” Pearson said.
