Three-vehicle crash sends one to hospital, closes highway in Caledon

One person has been rushed to hospital in serious condition following a three-vehicle crash in Caledon on Thursday.
The OPP says officers from the Caledon detachment were called to the area of Highway 9 and Mt. Wolfe Road shortly after 8 a.m. for reports of a crash.
Police say three vehicles were involved in the collision and one driver was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
All lanes of Highway 9 have been closed in both directions between Highway 50 and Tottenham Road while police investigate the crash.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes if possible.
Update: #CaledonOPP responded to the collision just after 8am. Three vehicles are involved. One driver has been transported to hospital with serious injuries. Hwy 9 to remain closed as the investigation continues. Please avoid the area.
