Three unidentified people are on the lam after they knocked over a pharmacy in south Oshawa on Sunday morning.

Around 10:40 a.m. on January 8, two men and a woman entered the Oshawa Lakeview Pharmacy on Park Rd. S, according to Durham Regional Police. The pharmacy is across the road from the GM plant and in the same plaza where Teil-lyn Cook, 19, was fatally stabbed last month.

Once in the pharmacy, the trio demanded narcotic drugs. Though they mentioned a gun the workers did not see one. The three grabbed an unspecified amount of drugs and cash, then fled the area on foot. None of the pharmacy workers were hurt.

The first suspect is described as a Black man standing 5-foot-11 with a thin build. He is between 20-22 years old. He wore a black, puffy winter jacket with a hood and black shoes.

The second man is Black, about 5-foot-10 tall with a medium build. He wore a white or light-grey Nike zip-up track-suit and black runners. Finally, the woman is described only as wearing all-dark clothes.

Anyone with information can call the Durham police Robbery Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5355 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
