There were two robberies and another attempted robbery in three different Mississauga pharmacies in little more than an hour today (November 29).

At 5:20 pm, four suspects entered a pharmacy in the Clarkson Road-Christopher Road area. They were described as in their 20s and all wearing masks with no weapons seen. Their efforts were thwarted as Peel Police called this an “attempted robbery” but one person on the scene was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.

A little more than half an hour later, a second robbery occurred at 5:53 pm at a pharmacy in the Huronontario Street-Agnes Street area, only this time it was five suspects, fully masked, all in the 20s. Again, no weapon was seen but police did describe this one as a “robbery” so they did get away with something.

Police says one person suffered minor injuries but didn’t go to the hospital.

Forty minutes later at 6:33 pm, another pharmacy, this one in the Queensway Way-Confederation Parkway, was robbed, this time by three suspects in their 20s, all wearing masks. Again, no weapons were spotted. Police also called this one a “robbery,” implying they got away with either merchandise or cash.

Peel Police have not said whether they believe the robberies were connected despite the similarities in the suspects.
