Three new pedestrian crossovers have been installed in the Town of Milton.

Residents may find them at the intersections of Bronte St. and John St., Asleton Blvd. and Sugden Terrace and Leger Way and Hinton Terrace.

“We’re excited to announce some more pedestrian crossovers!” said the Town on Twitter.

Recently, a pedestrian crossover was also installed at Maple Ave. and Woodward Ave.

As a result, the Town is reminding residents to remember to push the button to activate the flashing lights when crossing in this area.

Additionally, motorists are reminded that they must remain stopped until everyone has crossed all lanes of the road.

All pedestrian crossovers within the Town are marked by lines on the road, a clear place showing where motorists should stop, roadside signs and flashing lights in certain cases.
