Three more cases of COVID-19 have been reported at an Oakville public school on Thursday.

The Halton District School Board (HDSB) reported that a staff member and two students at W.H. Morden Public School have tested positive for the virus.

“A positive case at a school does not mean the individual was exposed to COVID-19 at the school,” said the HDSB in a statement on its website. “They may have been exposed somewhere else in the community.

“The identity of the individual is protected by privacy legislation and will not be shared.”

The Halton Catholic District School Board reported one new COVID-19 case today at St. Andrew Catholic Elementary School in Oakville.
