Three from Toronto arrested in string of cell phone store robberies in Durham, Toronto and York

Three people from Toronto were arrested last week as part of an investigation into a string of nearly a dozen cell phone store robberies in Durham Region, Toronto and York Region.
Eleven cell phone store were robbed in the three areas between January 8 and February 27. Police allege in each incident two men would enter the store, threaten and assault employees while demanding the employee open a safe holding phones.
The two men would then take the phone and flee the store, sometimes into a waiting getaway car.
The Toronto Police Hold Up Squad opened a joint investigation with Durham and York Regional police services. Combining their resources the services identified three suspects.
Investigators executed three search warrants at Toronto home on March 2. Police say they recovered numerous cell phones taken from the stores, the keys to several stolen cars, and clothes worn during the robberies.
Police arrested three people during the raids charging them with nearly 90 charges all together.

Junior Hazzard, 22 of Toronto, faces 37 charges:

Keshawn Fleming, 20 of Toronto, faces 50 charges:
- seven counts of Robbery
- eight counts of Disguise With Intent
- Trafficking in Property Obtained by Crime
- four counts of Theft of Motor Vehicle
- three counts of Possession Property Obtained by Crime
- two counts of Possession Credit Card Obtained by Crime
- Attempt to Commit Indictable Offence
- twelve counts of Fail to Comply Probation
- twelve counts of Fail to Comply Disposition YCJA
Finally Sandy Bowen, 37 of Toronto, faces two charges of possession property obtained by crime. All three appeared in a Toronto courtroom on March 3.
