Three charged in separate stunt driving related incidents in Brampton

Peel Regional Police charged three drivers in their 20’s for speeding above the maximum limit in Brampton this morning.

On Saturday (Mar. 25) at approximately 9 a.m., police reported three separate incidents where the driver of the vehicle was seen going above the speed limit.

The first occurrence happened in the area of Queen St/Goreway Dr where police observed a vehicle going 139 km/h in an 80 km/hr.

The second incident happened on Mississauga Rd/Bovaird Dr. It involved a driver speeding at 124 km/h in a 70 km/h zone.

Officers observed a third vehicle in the area of Steeles Ave E/Airport Rd where the driver was clocked doing 137 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.

Police say all the drivers who are believed to be in their 20’s, were charged and had their licenses revoked for 30 days and their cars will be impounded for 14 days.

Officers urge motorists to be safe on the roads by slowing down their speed.
