Three big Lotto Max prizes were just won in Canada

Tuesday night’s Lotto Max draw had a few big winners in Canada.

In terms of the main prize — a $20 million jackpot — no one was lucky enough to match all seven numbers to win.

Also in the main draw, no one got six out of seven numbers plus the bonus to win the second-place prize of $139,520.50.

There were 35 tickets that matched six out of seven numbers to win $4,061.70.

And 88 tickets had five out of seven numbers plus the bonus to win $1,049.80.

3 maxplus prizes won

The $20 million jackpot meant there were also 20 $100,000 maxplus prizes up for grabs.

Three of those prizes were won.

One was claimed by a single ticket.

The other was split between two tickets, amounting to $50,000 each.

Here’s a look at the winning numbers for the Tuesday, July 21 Lotto Max draw, via the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation:

The next Lotto Max draw will be held on Friday.

There will be an estimated $25 million jackpot up for grabs, along with 25 $100,000 maxplus prizes.

Lotto Max  is a national lottery game with draws that are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.

After changes to the game took effect earlier this year, draws now have $100,000 prizes up for grabs based on the jackpot amount.

There are multiple $100,000 maxplus prizes offered for each draw, with the specific number depending on the jackpot size.

“For example, when the jackpot is $10 million, 10 additional $100,000 prizes will be drawn, and so on, up to 90 additional $100,000 prizes when the jackpot hits $90 million,” the OLG previously said.

“That’s on top of the growing maxmillions prizing that may be available.”

Lotto Max costs $6 per play.
