brampton 16 attempted murder

Three 15-year-old Mississauga boys are facing multiple charges in connection with the attempted robbery of a pharmacy in the city’s south end on Tuesday (April 25).

Peel Regional Police say they’ve also recovered a stolen vehicle as a result of the foiled robbery attempt.

According to investigators, three males tried to get into a Lorne Park and Lakeshore Rds. area pharmacy via the front doors sometime on Tuesday.

The culprits had their faces covered as they tried to gain access.

However, workers inside the pharmacy secured the doors and called police.

A short time later, responding officers located three suspects a short distance away from the pharmacy, police say.

A vehicle reported stolen earlier this month from York was seized and three males were arrested.

Three 15-year-old boys, all of Mississauga, are charged with attempt to commit an indictable offence, wearing a disguise with intent and possession of stolen property.

One youth was also charged with failing to comply with a release order stemming from previous outstanding robbery charges.

Police say additional charges may be laid as their investigation continues.

Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators at 905-453-2121, ext. 3410, or Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
