Thousands of Hamilton homes and businesses affected by power outage in Stoney Creek

Close to 4,000 Hamilton homes and businesses are affected by a power outage in Upper Stoney Creek on Wednesday (Nov. 10).
According to Alectra Utilities, there is a limited power outage in the area between Nebo Road to 11th Road E and Highway 20 to Ridge Road affecting 3,707 customers.
The utility provider said the cause of the outage is an overhead distribution problem and crews have been dispatched to make repairs.
The estimated time for power restoration is 12:00 p.m.
