UPDATE: Thorold girl, 14, has been found safe

UPDATE: On October 13th, 2022, at approximately 2:00pm Layla was located and is safe.

Police are hunting for a 14-year-old girl missing from Thorold since Tuesday afternoon.

Layla Travers was last seen leaving her home in the Port Robinson Road and Kottmeier Road area of Thorold on October 11 at 1:30 am.

Police says her means of travel is unknown.

Travers is described as a white female, 5-foot-4 with a thin build, shoulder length brown hair and a nose piercing.

Both the police and Travers’ family are concerned for her welfare.

Police are asking the public to keep their eyes open for her.  Anyone who may have information as to the whereabouts of Travers is being asked to contact the NRPS Communications Unit at 905-688-4111.
