This weekend’s weather: Sunny with chance of rain in southern Ontario

After heavy rain on Friday, sunny and warm weather is in the forecast for the weekend in southern Ontario.
A special weather statement is in effect for southern Ontario on Friday morning.
Between 25 to 50 mm of rain is expected to fall across Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Durham, Toronto and many other cities and towns near Lake Ontario, Environment and Climate Change Canada said.
After the remnants of tropical storm Debby passes through, clearer skies are expected.
Saturday is expected to be mainly sunny with a high of 25 C and humidex values around 28 C in Mississauga, Brampton, Halton and Durham regions.
It will be slightly cooler in Hamilton with a high 23 C and humidex of 25 C.
Lows will drop down to around 14 C on Saturday evening.
There is a 30 per cent chance of rain on Sunday but there is also a mix of sun and clouds expected. Highs of 21 C to 23 C. Lows of around 14 C are in the forecast.
The rest of the week looks sunny with increasingly warmer temperatures.
