This is the store where the $80 million Lotto Max ticket was sold

The winners of a massive $80 million Lotto Max jackpot from the Dec. 30 draw were finally publicly revealed on Thursday.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation announced in a press release that Greg S. and Krys P. won the massive prize.

The two friends also chose the Lotto Max combination play option, leading to a second-prize win on the same draw of $403,285.40.

That means they both equally shared a total of $80,403,285.40 — the largest lottery payout in Canadian history.

The two have bought lottery tickets together for several years, only when the jackpots are high.

Krys said Greg is the one who would purchase their tickets.

“He is the one who always took the time to go to the store and buy our tickets,” Krys said.

And that $80-million winning ticket was bought in the same city where both Greg and Krys live: London, Ontario.

Specifically, it was purchased at Happy Day’s Mini Mart, a variety store on Aldersbrook Road.

That’s near Wonderland Road North and Gainsborough Road.

If it hasn’t already, the store will likely display a sign proudly indicating that it sold a lottery ticket that ended up winning a massive $80 million jackpot.

Meanwhile, two $1 million prizes that were won in Ontario from that same draw have yet to be claimed.
