The real estate market has a lot of buyers paying top dollar for homes throughout the GTA, and Brampton is definitely no exception.
In fact, a semi-detached home in Brampton recently sold for $1,325,000 — $326,000 over its asking price of $999,000.
The property, located at 4 Vincent St, has three above-ground bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a size of approximately 1,746 square feet.
It was most recently sold last Monday, Feb. 7. Before then it was sold in April 2016 for the much lower price of $515,000 — a difference of more than $800,000.
It’s far from the first Brampton home to see such a vast difference in price, with another home recently selling for $565,000 more than what it sold for in 2021.
Semi-detached home prices have been on the rise in Brampton.
In Peel Region, Brampton saw the biggest spike in prices as the average price for a single-detached home rose 28.8 per cent from six figures in 2020 to $1,189,811 in 2021.
