Thirty school bus cancelled Monday; 17 in Clarington

Thirty school bus routes have been cancelled today (May 8) in Durham Region with more than half (17) in Clarington.

Exactly half of the routes cancelled due to driver shortages involve high schools.

Schools seeing cancelled routes include Clarington Central, Bowmanville, Clarke and Holy Family high schools and Duke of Cambridge, Harold Longworth The Pines, Orono, Clarington Central Intermediate, Hampton and MJ Hobbs elementary schools in Clarington; O-Neill High School and Jeanne Sauve and Sir Albert Love elementary schools in Oshawa; Ajax High School and St. Bernadette and Michaelle Jean elementary schools in Ajax; and Sunderland Public School in Brock Township.
