GO Transit Bike Restrictions

There’s good news for Mississauga, Oakville and Burlington residents looking to return home late on the train from a ball game or concert in Toronto.

Go Transit is ramping up its evening service.

The Lakeshore West Line 30-minute weekday evening service between Union Station and Aldershot GO has returned for GO Transit riders after 9 p.m.

Two trains will now run per hour, making it easier for those heading home from a sporting event or late night in the city.

Go Transit has adjusted schedules to provide more consistent departure times and to allow some trains to make longer scheduled stops at Exhibition and Oakville GO Stations.

Schedule adjustments have also been made for Lakeshore East customers. Go Transit is asking customers to check schedules to ensure they arrive at their platform on time.

Metrolinx also announced its UP Express service is also increasing.

It an effort to provide more flexibility for its customer, Metrolinx has reintroduced 15-minute UP Expressive service, seven days a week.

First and last trip times are remaining the same with more options being made available during the day. That means the consistent 15-minute service frequency will allow riders to show up and go.
