Pier 4 Park in Hamilton is the place for all sorts of ales, ciders, lagers and stouts over the next two days.

At this writing, a few tickets remain for Because Beer 2022, a waterfront craft beer festival that takes place on Friday and Saturday. More than 30 craft brewers and beverage vendors are offering a chance to test out their flights of fancy fermented libations. Numerous food trucks are also slated to be on hand.

The entertainment portion includes performances on Friday from Dwayne Gretzky and Born in the Eighties, as well as drag performances from The House of Adam and Steve.

Saturday, Because Beer features music from Dear Rouge and Capitol, as well as comedy performances by Casey Corbin and Jeff McEnery. The Society of Beer Drinking Ladies is also presenting a comedy show entitled The Betty, which is hosted by Anna Gufstafson and includes appearances from Zabrina Douglas, Amy Dugg, Harpreet Sehmbi and Karen O’Keefe.

A complete lineup of beer and beverage vendors appears below. Tickets are available at becausebeer.ca.
