Theodore TOO clearly missed his fans in Oshawa because the loveable 65-foot tugboat is returning to Oshawa Harbour this weekend for a two-day visit.

Theodore, a life-sized reproduction of the CBC television character ‘Theodore Tugboat,’ will arrive at the Oshawa Port dock in the evening on July 8 and depart Oshawa on July 11.

Visitors are encouraged to stop by Theodore’s tent for interactive activities. The crew will share information about Theodore’s mission and teach participants how to wrap a rope, toss a line, tie knots and more.

To follow Theodore TOO and his crew on their journey and real-time coordinates, download Vessel Finder. Fans can also follow #TheosGreatLakesAdventure for more stories from Theodore TOO and his crew as a Great Lakes ambassador for Swim Drink Fish, a water conservation and advocacy group.

Theodore TOO was built at Snyder’s Shipyard in Dayspring, Nova Scotia and launched on April 19, 2000. He was last here in Oshawa July 14-17, 2021.
