Mississauga seems to be on a bit of a winning streak lately when it comes to the lottery.

OLG officials have delivered big cheques — from tens of thousands of dollars up to millions — to nearly two dozen or so Mississauga residents in the past couple of months.

The latest city resident to keep the streak alive is Lul Ogbaghebriel, who claimed a Lotto Max second prize of $186,281 in the Sept. 5 draw.

And like a growing number of recent winners from Canada’s seventh-largest city, the Mississauga woman chose to supply OLG with the required winner’s photo only and no accompanying words telling the world about her thoughts upon winning life-changing cash.

The winning ticket was purchased at Impulse Convenience & Home Services Inc., on Driftcurrent Drive in Mississauga.

OLG officials note that Lotto Max players in Ontario have won more than $7.9 billion since 2009, including 99 jackpot wins.
