A new spot for authentic Thai cuisine has officially opened in Oshawa.
Thai Room Grand celebrated the grand opening of their newest restaurant on Thursday, July 9, at 214 Ritson Rd. N., just north of Bond Street East. The restaurant shares the space with Gabby’s Kitchen & Bar.
The restaurant offers a modern dining experience featuring handcrafted cocktails alongside a menu of freshly prepared Thai dishes made to order.
Guests can choose from a wide selection of appetizers, soups, salads, curries, stir-fries and noodle dishes.

Popular menu items include Pad Thai, Khao Soi, Pad See Ew and Massaman Curry, while starters range from chicken and shrimp satay to calamari, crispy spring rolls and fresh salad rolls.
The menu also features wok dishes, fried rice, Thai soups such as Tom Yum and Tom Kha, along with Oshawa-exclusive specialties including Gao Lao Neua Tune and Pla Meuk Pad Kai Kem.

The Oshawa restaurant is Thai Room Grand’s 10th location. The chain also has restaurants in Toronto, Mississauga, Etobicoke, Pickering, Newmarket and Vaughan
According to the company’s website, the restaurant prepares its dishes using traditional Thai ingredients, including fresh herbs, lemongrass and Thai chillies, paired with quality meats and fresh vegetables.
Thai Room Grand Oshawa is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
