Tesla driver wanted in hit-and-run crash in Caledon

Police are searching for the driver of a red Tesla after striking a man in a hit-and-run crash.

Officers from the Caledon OPP detachment were called to the area of King St. near Torbram Rd. in Caledon shortly after 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday for reports of a collision.

Police say the driver of a white SUV was outside of their vehicle when they were hit by a red Tesla. The victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, but police say the driver of the Tesla took off after the crash.

Investigators are asking the public to help locate the driver but have not released any details on the suspected model of the Tesla.
