Ten new Covid-19 cases in Durham – half from Oshawa

Ten new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Durham Region yesterday, with half coming from Oshawa. Clarington also reported three new cases but Ajax, formerly Durham’s hot spot, was Covid-free.

Delta variants reported has also taken a jump to 97 – including seven active cases – but all are self-isolating at home.

Durham has now vaccinated 831,801 people and 75.7 per cent of the 12-plus demographic has received at least one dose. Nearly 60 per cent of that same 12-plus population is now fully vaccinated.
