Temporary closure of busy Milton street now extended until December

The temporary closure of Campbell Ave. E. in Milton due to ongoing construction has now been extended until December.
Work for this project began in July 2021 and is scheduled to be completed in June 2022. Initially, the extended lane closure was supposed to last until the end of November.
The project consists of full road excavation, storm drainage maintenance and a roundabout at Campbellville Rd. and Campbell Ave. E., including illumination and landscaping.
Activities during extended lane closures include the installation of storm sewers and concrete placement for the curb and gutter.
During construction, the public is encouraged to plan travel in advance, consider alternate routes, follow signage and be patient while travelling in and around construction areas.
