Warmer weather is in the forecast for Brampton and Mississauga.

While temperatures so far this month have been on the cooler side, that’s expected to change this week, as temperatures could reach 30 degrees by the long weekend.

The forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday is 27 degrees, which will feel closer to 30 degrees, and mostly sunny.

Thursday the mercury is projected to climb to 28 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds.

Then, on Friday, temperatures could hit 30 degrees for the first time this year—The Weather Network is projecting 30-degree temperatures all weekend, with Saturday and Sunday feeling like 36 degrees.

However, there’s a risk of a thunderstorm for both Saturday and Sunday—the percentage of precipitation is 40 per cent for both days.

For those who aren’t big fans of the heat, temperatures are projected to return to more seasonable levels on the holiday Monday, which is going to be 21 degrees and sunny.
