Teenager arrested in connection to Oshawa stabbing

Durham Police have arrested a 15-year-old girl accused of stabbing another teenager.
On September 19 police found the victim, also 15, in the Glen Street and Medina Court area of south Oshawa. The girl had been stabbed and suffered serious injuries. She was taken to a local hospital.
A suspect fled the scene before police arrived. Police were able to locate her six days later. Police also said she assaulted officers during her arrest.
She faces assault with a weapon, possessing a weapon with intent, concealed weapon and assaulting police charges.
She has been released with conditions.
